Facilities at Bradfield
Bradfield was built in the early 1900’s, we specialise in providing 24 hour care to people over the age of 65 years and we are registered with the Care Quality Commission to accommodate up to 37 people. The majority of our rooms are situated on the ground floor, the other rooms, most of which have views of the English Channel are accessed by a five person passenger lift.
Bradfield has a light and spacious interior and over the years we have restored many of the original Edwardian features. There are three lounges, a library/cinema room and conservatory where residents can socialise and enjoy daily activities. There is also a large dining room, 2 enclosed gardens with a summer house where residents can enjoy the outside space and a quiet veranda.
Our residents at Bradfield love animals and pet therapy has been very successful to promote stimulation, independence and well-being. We currently have a Mini-lop Rabbit named ‘Floss’, 2 Guinea Pigs ‘Star & Wonder’ and a dog called Tilly who visits almost daily.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome to come into the home to visit.
